Why We Recommend It?
Despite the ever-evolving utility of geothermal systems, adoption remains slow owing to a number of factors such as: high initial capital investment, delivery complexity, and market unfamiliarity/risk aversion. The viability of geothermal in the Canadian market therefore rests on the development of innovative practices from industry leaders, who must find creative ways to address these concerns. This paper highlights one of those innovations, and explores a new model that is attempting to address these gaps.
Geothermal systems are not suited for every project, but the case for their increased adoption is growing steadily, and reports like this one are key to understanding the emerging industry.
